We do not share your health or biometric data with third-party AI processors for analysis without your explicit, separate consent, and it is not used for advertising or data brokerage purposes.
• Voice Recordings and Transcripts: Collected only when you actively initiate a recording. This data is processed for transcription via secure APIs (such as Google AI) and deleted immediately from our processing servers upon task completion.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous telemetry to improve hardware performance, which cannot be traced back to individual users.

To provide you with intelligent transcription, semantic analysis, and personalized AI companion features, we utilize third-party AI services, specifically Google AI (Google Cloud Vertex AI).

When you use our voice recording and transcription features (e.g., via our app or hardware devices), the specific audio data and text you have explicitly chosen to process are securely transmitted to Google AI for the sole purpose of generating transcriptions and intelligent summaries.

Data Protection Guarantee: We do not sell your data. We ensure that any third-party AI service provider with whom we share data, including Google, provides equal or equivalent user data protections as described in this Privacy Policy. Furthermore, your data, including voice recordings and transcripts, is processed ephemerally or stored securely and is strictly prohibited from being used to train foundational AI models of Google or any other third party.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data transmissions are encrypted using SSL/TLS. Health data collected by Pæan devices is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
